There are three periods in a horse’s life when nutrition is most critical. These periods are late pregnancy, weaning to three years old and old age. The nutritional program at each of these stages can have a profound impact on the health and performance of a horse for the rest of its life.

Junior Delight (14% protein/1470 kcal/lb): A textured supplement, Junior Delight is an extremely palatable to supplement alfalfa or mixed hay diets which allows the young equine to achieve optimum growth and structural soundness at maturity. Fortified with supplemental levels of the essential amino acids: lysine, methionine and threonine, Junior Delight also contains chelated minerals to support bone and cartilage growth and a pre-biotic to support digestive health.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS

1. Always make gradual changes to feed program. Introduce Junior Delight at

the rate of 2 lbs per head/day. Increase Junior Delight by 1 lb every 2 days until the recommended rates of feeding

are met as outlined below by age-body weight:

2. No other dietary supplements are required when feeding Junior Delight.

3. Store feed in a cool, dry area. Never feed moldy or insect-infested feed.

CAUTION: Follow label directions. Feeding added selenium at levels in excess of

0.3 PPM in the total diet is prohibited. Junior Delight should not exceed 55% of total diet.
