Chaffhaye For Horses

For All Classes of Equine

In feeding our own horses and livestock and from speaking with thousands of horse owners over the years, we have found that most horses will go to Chaffhaye immediately. Because it is their basic nature to be suspicious of any new feed, some horses might need assistance getting started on Chaffhaye. Any change of feed, including a change to Chaffhaye, should be introduced gradually over a week to minimize the possibility of digestive upsets. Once you have successfully introduced Chaffhaye, look out! Your horse won’t want anything else.

  • Convenient Packaging: Compact with No Mess and No Waste. Chaffhaye is perfect for the road.

How an animals digestive system utilizes given feed is termed their biological response. Studies involving horses have shown a significantly higher biological response to fermented products like Chaffhaye. A higher biological response means your horse is getting more nutrients out of their forage. The “pre-digestion” inside the bag allows the horse to absorb more nutrients in the forage with less spillover to the hindgut.

Chaffhaye for Goats

There are unique biological aspects to Chaffhaye that exert health and physiological benefits beyond the nutrition of the forage itself. Chaffhaye undergoes an all natural fermentation process in the package that enlivens it with yeast, enzymes, and beneficial microflora.

Chaffhaye’s beneficial microflora, or fiber-digesting bacteria, closely resembles those found in the early fiber-digestion process in the rumen of ruminants. In essence, Chaffhaye “predigests” the forage in the bag. Once consumed, more of its nutrients can be assimilated (absorbed ) in the body, leading to greater nutritional benefit.

After only 1 month my daily milk volume increased by 1/4. I really noticed my goat’s coats, eyes, and muscles tone had improved by February 2014. At every show, I attended people would stop and ask “Is that Chaffhaye, where can I get it”. I shared any info I had and they loved the condition of my goats. I strongly recommend Chaffhaye for its superior quality, packaging, nutritional benefits and the overall health & general appearance of my goats. - TLC FARMS, Tanya Cook- Lithia, FL

Goat Tip #1: Wash your hands with toothpaste to remove "buck" smell after handling your herd.

Goat Tip #2: Treat your girls to a handful of Black Oil Sunflower Seeds (BOSS). They are a great source of vitamin E, Zinc, Iron, Selenium and healthy fats.

Chaffhaye for Cattle

It is not always easy to keep the digestive system of your livestock properly functioning, while also meeting a large percentage of your animal’s daily nutrient requirements at a reasonable cost. Chaffhaye provides a solution as a superior alternative to baled hay and processed feeds for your cattle.

How an animal nutritionally utilizes their feed is just as important as what is in that feed. A feed can have all the nutrition in the world but if the animal can not absorb that nutrition it is lost in manure. An animal’s ability to absorb a feed is known as their “biological response” to the feed. With Chaffhaye your cattle will achieve one of the highest possible biological

The Problem, with dry alfalfa

Alfalfa, like most grains and legumes has protective coatings made up of enzyme inhibitors and phytic acid that make the forage nearly indigestible to your birds. These protective devices are nature’s way of protecting the plant until maturity. This may be great for ensuring the survival of the plant, it is not so great for your flock or pocket book.

The Solution, Chaffhaye

The Chaffhaye process utilizes a cool lacto-fermentation to breakdown the phytic acid, and protective enzymes, essentially “unlocking” the nutrition in the forage and making every last bit available to your flock!

Great for Chicks

  •  Starts Them Off Right: Early access to semi-moist diets for day-old chicks stimulates gastrointestinal (GI) development and prevents dehydration
  • Rapid Gut Development: Rapid GI tract development after hatch is essential for optimization of digestive function and underpins efficient growth and development as well as a full expression of the genetic potential for production traits
  • Efficient Digestive: Tracts Benefits of moist feeding have been attributed to decreased viscosity of gut contents, greater development of the layer of villi in the digestive segments and reduced crypt cell proliferation

Recommended Feeding

Use as a supplement.

Chickens, ducks, geese- feed 1-1.5 lbs. per bird each week

Turkeys & Large Poultry- 2lbs per bird each week
